Caring for Your Handmade Glass Art
Your stained piece is handcrafted and built to last, but a little care goes a long way in keeping it looking its best.
Cleaning
Your stained glass piece will naturally oxidize over time. To maintain, gently wipe with a soft dry cloth. For added shine and protection, apply a light coat of non abrasive car wax to the solder lines and buff gently with a soft cloth.
Handling
Traditional stained glass is made with lead and tin solder. While each piece is sealed, we recommend washing your hands after handling and keeping it out of reach of small children and pets .
Display
Please do not use suction cups to display your piece, as they can fail over time. A sturdy hook is recommended for safe display.
